Every year the prices of these books go up and they want you to have 3 more.. Finding the cheap used books can seem like the search for the holy grail with no Indy and we get it. That’s why at Campus Monsta we encourage users to sell and buy their books from each other and cut out the middlemen in the student bookstore charging eighty dollars for a textbook from the 1980s. It’s simple create a post include the isbn# and you are going to be found by the next unfortunate soul who is taking Western Art And Culture In The Modern World

Until the Monsta is filled with posts from real college kids trying to get their precious dollars back on last semesters books here are some great book alternatives for students in the new year that we thought were very useful.

This is the netflix of college textbooks, they rent and ship you books you read them and ship them back using UPS. They also let you sell books but if you rent they will plant a tree every time you do. This is probably the most successful college textbook rental site so far as this is a new and exciting medium. Just hope somebody doesn’t make a Redbox version outside each dorm for their sake. To up the ante they offer lots of prizes and contests for just trying it, also a 30 day guarantee. Iphone app too for the apple heads.

This site isn’t so flashy and has options you can buy or rent books….even donate or sell your old books sounds easy and we like the name so please let us know if they live up to their name. Free Iphone app to do your book buying and selling on the go

We have heard tons of recommendations for this site and happy users are hard to come by when it comes to spending all the money their parents gave them in the first week of school. Sorry no renting just buying and selling books, but they have dvds, music and games to search through too. They also have a cool free Iphone app. Handy Dandy indeed!

Welcome to campus monsta, your home for everything college. We’re kinda like craigslist- except you can see the posts on our interactive google map of your campus or area. We want you to post as much as possible to sell, buy, and tell people about whats going on in your campus community.

Make a post and see if somebody responds, you may even make some money. If your hungry maybe a pizza place in your local area can bring you a pie, check their business profile after finding them on the map. If your a college student inquire about our great internship opportunities and help us expand our national network.
